4G has a long way to go. Yet, it may become reality sooner than expected, expert says
Last week, Radio Frequency Resource Draft Act No.5051 was registered in the Ukrainian Parliament. It contains a number of tools aimed to deal with challenges faced by telecoms operators.
“Law-makers included technological neutrality provisions into the draft act, and as well managed to regulate frequency allocation. In addition, legislators offered a new “frequency lease” service and what is more, they made licensing procedures easier for businesses. Generally, on paper, this draft act enables operators to implement LTE without much pain”, commented Den Beregovyi.
